چکیده
Since the emerging 5G wireless network is expected to significantly revolutionize thefield of communication, its standardization and design should regard internet ofthings (IoT) among main orientations. Also, IoT applications introducenew requirements other than throughput support massive machine-type commu-nication (mMTC) where small data packets are occasionally sent. Therefore, moreimportance attached coverage, latency, power consumption, connection den-sity. For this purpose, third generation partnership project (3GPP) has introducedtwo novel cellular technologies supporting mMTC, known as NB-IoT LTE-M. This paper aims determine system configuration deployment required forNB-IoT LTE-M fully meet mMTC in termsof throughput, battery life, density. An overview ofthese their principles also described. A complete evalua-tion performance against presented, and it shown that these can be met but only under certain conditionsregarding deployment. followed by a performancecomparative analysis, which mainly conducted limits suitableuse cases each technology.

Massive MIMO is widely recognized as an essential technology for 5G. Together with newly allocated spectrum (bandwidth) and network densification (small cells), it is expected to play a key role in coping with the ongoing explosion in data-traffic demand and services. Compared to 4G MIMO technologies, massive MIMO can offer large gains in cell spectral efficiency, which, in combination with sma...

متن کاملPerformance Analysis of Congestion Control for Massive MTC Networks
This paper describes scheduling and processing of congested packets in massive Machine Type Communications (MTC). When there are too many uplink packets, it may cause congestions in the Radio Access Network (RAN) and the Evolved Packet Core (EPC). To solve this problem, we propose a Critical Random Early Detection (CRED) method to compute the current average queue length for each process to det...
